My journey in Bariloche, Argentina

Argentina is a such a beautiful country, full of great experiences, all the kinds of it. As for sports, I have to say that Bariloche is one of the most specials places I have ever known. But Bariloche is not just for sports. It's a lovely city, perfect for honeymoons, trips with the family and friends. The pure nature with the amazing lakes, transform everything on a perfect landscape, that you can spend a lot of your time just looking around.

During the winter, you can ski and do all the winter sports. There is a lot of good ski resorts for a great winter sports experience. Trekking and beautiful views are to be found there.

But, I have to admit that, even me being a winter person, I prefer Bariloche during the summer. It's a little cold in summer, but the days are so much more beautiful than the winter days. So colorful, full of flowers, wild fruits, so much green and you can do sports activities on the lakes.

If it's possible for you, stay at the very best resort Llao Llao, where you will have some special things to do. I stayed there and it was amazing, because I made Stand Up Paddle at the Lake Moreno, that it's like a private lake that all the guests can use to do sports. You can swin, take a boat, do whatever you want to enjoy your time there. If the water is calm, you can go as far as you want to.

The water of all the lakes comes from the snow of the top of the hills. Amazing but so cold. In some days with the sun so strong and no wind, we can go there and spend some time on the fresh air.

Everybody knows Cerro Catedral just in winter, and just a little part of travelers knows that we have something really special making a trekking of 4 hours. If you have strenght enough, you will find the Refugio Frey, which is almost 2000 meters high. The view there is amazing, the sky at night the most beautiful that I've ever seen in my life. I made a hammock there and climbed some walls. I almost died (too afraid and shocked, stuck on a piece of rock) because it was my very first time climbing but I did it very well.

If you like to run, Bariloche is perfect for this too. At the main avenue, Bustillo, you can run as fast as you can, as long as you want. It's safe and plain, perfect to run. And the view during your running will be amazing, because this avenue is around the Nahuel Huapi Lake. Amazing and so beautiful.

If you like golf, Llao Llao is your place. They have a beautiful camp with 18 holes, with a lot of lavander and marigold fields around, you will play looking at many hills, including the majestic Cerro Tronador (so big, so high that this hill is in Chile and you can see it in some points of the city).

Well, I think that I already gave you reasons enough to go to Bariloche. It an insane beautiful city, with good food to eat, a lot of good Argentinean wine and a huge selection of perfect chocolates factory. So good all of them! Taste every type you can.

Bariloche is great, summer or winter, you should go. The people are so lovely as the city.
